Housed in the former convent of Nossa Senhora de Assunção, which was founded in 1512, the municipal museum, formerly known as the Lapidar Infante Dom Henrique Archaeological Museum, features a Roman and Moorish archaeological collection in the cloister galleries, as well as temporary thematic exhibitions. In the summer, you will have the opportunity to attend one-hour Portuguese guitar demonstrations, about five times a day. Once the tour is over, be sure to stroll through the peaceful garden.

Intéressant musée avec des pièces d'art islamiste de qualité. La mosaïque romaine est aussi à voir. Le cadre dans un ancien couvent est très beau principalement le cloître. Le jeudi à 15h30 et 17h pour 8 euros vous pouvez assister à un vrai concert de fado après visite du musée et dégustation de vin. A voir et à écouter!
