Faro, the capital of the Algarve, a young and dynamic city, could not continue without a cultural facility worthy of the name. To make up for this lack, the Das Figuras theater opened its doors in 2005 following the year of culture. It is an imposing building that is not very typical, but it has a beautiful amphitheater with 772 seats to accommodate artists and spectators. It offers a multidisciplinary program ranging from dance to music and from circus to opera, for all generations.
