Housed in a th century building, Timurid architecture, the museum is located on the site of the restored mausoleum of Sultan Abdul Raazaq. After being closed, it reopened in 1966. It sets out a large collection of objects dating from the ghaznavide period: ceramics, bronzes, glassware and writings.
