This is the oldest bakery in Ericeira. Open since 1963, it bears the name of the family that has run the establishment for all that time. Even early in the morning, the bakery is always busy, as people come here to eat the famous ouriços, a local sweet that resembles sea urchins. The recipes for the cakes are kept secret and were developed by the owner's mother many years ago. In the window, neatly arranged, you can see the multicolored cake boxes used to store the dried cookies.
