OSSENMARKT - CATTLE MARKET

Until 1892, this square was used as a cattle market, hence its name. Many beautiful facades of patrician houses can be found all around this square. Not to be missed for a view of the city from the other side. This square is located just in the name of the historical center. Its construction dates from the 17th century. Several buildings were destroyed during the Second World War. The western part of the square is now known as Guyotplein.
