DRIE GEZUSTERS

If you had to name a symbolic address of the city, it would probably be Drie Gezusters, "The Three Sisters" which is a great classic on the market place. It is an institution in Groningen that prides itself, and one is tempted to believe it, on being one of the largest cafés in Europe! This address consists of a series of rooms in several historic buildings. The menu will delight you from late breakfast until the end of the night. Beautiful and lively terrace. A must-see, even if it's only for a quick coffee in the morning.
