Housed in a pumping station on stilts, which dates from 1849, this museum (actually two museums combined, the Cruquius Museum and the Historical Museum) allows you to learn all about the polders and the reclamation or drainage works, especially with the help of an animated model that summarizes the history of the fight led by this country against the waters.
