A plot of land to be rehabilitated with several aims: to purify the soil and create a new green urban center in Amsterdam

For 10 years, the city has made this land available to Ceuvel for rehabilitation. The main aim was to purify the soil, soiled by years of use as a shipyard. De Ceuvel is a green urban center, a model of a new art of living. De Ceuvel, an incubator for innovative businesses, aims to be as self-sufficient as possible, with each company housed in boats destined for dismantling. The boards are salvaged, the solar panels are plentiful and the toilets are dry. It's a unique place that's worth getting to know. Coffee available on site.

Accessible en bac gratuit depuis le centre d'Amsterdam, l'éco-quartier construit sur un ancien chantier naval regorge d'idées innovantes : habitations et "bureaux" construits dans d'anciens bateaux, café à la décoration de bric et de broc et qui flirte avec l'ambiance hipster en bogue (panneaux vantant le style de vie éco-responsable, vegan et compagnie), vivier de start-ups et d'initiatives novatrices.
Attention tout de même : il faudra marcher une quinzaine de minutes pour y arriver, à moins de prendre un vélo (évidemment !!) ou un bus.
