These days celebrate LGBTQ communities with respect. Don't miss the wonderful and photogenic parade on the canals.

Pride Amsterdam, formerly known as Gay Pride, is a series of days open to everyone, trans or queer. Over the course of these few days, more than 170 different parties and events are organized in the city. Several communities are targeted, including a "senior pride" and a "youth pride". The highlight of the pride is the Canal Parade, a magnificent boat parade on the Prinsengracht where the entire LGBTQ community comes together in a celebration of tolerance and acceptance, with color, joy and good humor.
