The Minds is a very comfortable bar with character that has proclaimed itself Amsterdam's only (and last) punk bar, which is probably true. Here, you can spend a pleasant moment listening to good rock music while drinking good beer (real, not Heineken, the manager tells us). There's also a pool table to pass the time while having fun. A superbly located address in the center of town, which thumbs its nose at the sleek, trendy new addresses springing up like mushrooms in Amsterdam, particularly in this district.
