Hotel located in the city centre of Amsterdam, on Dam Square and close to Central Station.
If you're looking for a downtown hotel, it couldn't be more central: you're practically on the famous Dam Square and less than 5 minutes' walk from Centraal Station. The hotel offers beautifully renovated rooms (although not large) in a modern, uncluttered style. You can have breakfast or dinner in the De Roode Leeuw restaurant, which has a very Dutch feel, with traditional stained-glass windows, large banquettes and a dominant red tapestry.

No one was there to help us with the luggage. I think they calculated the bathroom space with the room because it was smaller than it should be “ superior room”. Room is not soundproof while you can hear people walking in the street and walk in the hotel. I heard everything in the room next to ours.
