Hotel close to Amsterdam's concert halls and discos.
As its name suggests, this hotel has a nightlife and rock theme. Its location makes it the starting point for all your outings in the capital. In fact, it's just a stone's throw from a number of concert halls (Paradiso, Melkweg) as well as bars and clubs. Backstage takes up the musical theme in the rooms, with lighting, studios and more. You can borrow a guitar to set the mood. Some musicians stay here after their gigs, but as the website says, "what happens backstage, stays backstage"!

Het hotel lijkt wel een mini museum met en elk hoekje weer iets verrassends. De kamers zijn eenvoudig, maar heel mooi ingericht. Wij zaten in de Herman Brood kamer, toevallig een van mijn helden. De muren vol foto’s van Herman Brood.
We hebben oprecht genoten! Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid!
En als kers op de taart: ik was mijn AirPods vergeten op de kamer. Niet slim nee. Ik heb gebeld, maar niks gevonden. 2 dagen later een mailtje dat ze gevonden waren en of ze opgestuurd moesten worden. Gisteren ontvangen. En op de AirPods een post-it met: keep on rockin’! Love it! Onwijs bedankt!
