Luxurious historic hotel with star restaurant located in the centre of Amsterdam.
Amsterdam, like all world-renowned capitals, boasts several exceptional hotel addresses. Here's one of them, the Dylan, long located in a superb 17th-century building in the heart of the city, but accessed via a historic pediment. The thirty-three rooms and eight suites are each decorated in a different style, with exclusive furnishings and materials. Together, they form a unique space, a focal point of controlled luxury. Service is excellent. The hotel boasts a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant.

The restaurant is impressive and bar area has a lovely fire and comfortable seating.
Downside.
Room was duplex with a very steep staircase (see picture). You thought twice about going up and down it. I was forewarned about this afew days beforehand and asked to pay extra to change the room. As a matter of principle, I should receive a room that is accessible!
There were several issues with the concierge (forgotten breakfast in bed, removed my half packed case from my room - when I’d asked for it to be brought down the steep stairs only), mix up with the taxi - which is why the overall stars is low.
