Scam artist hotel, and one that is clearly not a 5-Star location. This hotel is a 4, at best, and not even a 4.5-Star. Comically bad bed, bizarre smells in the room. Dirty room, as if they didn’t fully clean it and prepare it for me. There was dried stains all over the bathroom, and glasses were smudged, like someone didn’t clean them. This hotel is not “historic” as much as it’s just plain old and decrepit. It’s not comfortable at all. Also note, if you have children, this hotel uses old elevators where there is no door! The exposed floors pass by as you stand back.

Rude receptionist, who attempted to double charge me for my stay. PLEASE NOTE: this hotel does not let you arrive slightly late. They will cancel your stay on you and attempt to take your money! This policy is barely mentioned on their website, only when you actually book a room. It is nor mentioned on websites, such as Priceline, where the hotel sells their rooms.

I arrived at 8 AM and the receptionist deadpan stated that the reservation had been canceled. Since I was arriving so early, I had booked the day before onward. Apparently their “no show” policy is they cancel your reservation and keep your money, and then attempt to double charge you by booking a second reservation.

After saying “Sorry, your reservation has been canceled” and then literally nothing else, the receptionist just stood there. After prompting her, this receptionist, who is the most unprofessional and mentally unstable hotel employee I’ve ever met, kept interrupting me and condescendingly telling me that I can’t show up at 8 AM like I did.

After explaining that this was the coldest and most unprofessional welcome to a hotel I’ve ever experienced, the manager stated that the information the receptionist told me was incorrect. However, she did not care, and did not seem to mind that she has a totally out of line receptionist double charging people.

Save your money and go elsewhere. Truly. I’ve been all over the world and stayed at hundreds of hotels. This is easily the worst one, if not for the poor quality of everything, then for the fact that they were going to double charge me. Their policy makes arriving, as an international traveler, very difficult, and their intention of double charging me for my room should be criminal. I cannot imagine how many people they must have scammed with this “policy.”

Did not have a good experience here at all. I stayed here on a work trip, rooms were ok, but very dated, you can see the wear & tear everywhere. The location is very good, though.
This hotel is definitely not 5 stars, and the staff are quite rude. I felt really unsafe here as a female solo traveller, as at midnight, when I was about to fall asleep already lying in my bed, I heard someone knocking at the door saying: "Roomservice". As I was already half asleep at this point and hadn't ordered any room service, I just ignored the knock and thought the person would walk away. Then, suddenly, I heard the waiter unlock the door which I had previously locked, and enter (!!!) my room. At this point, I started screaming at the man to get out of the room, which he did. Not a pleasant experience at all to have someone unlock your room door from the outside in the middle of the night - I felt really unsafe. When I complained about it the next day at reception, the receptionist told me that the guy had confused the rooms. I get that part, and mistakes can happen, but it's still no excuse for just unlocking and entering a guest's room in the middle of the night. I won't be back.

La pire expérience.. cette hotel es tous sauf un 5 étoiles ! Même le personnel étais d'accord avec moi quand j expliquais mon mécontentement !
Une chambre usé par le temps, des meubles abîmé, une chambre ou le chauffage ne fonctionne pas et après plusieurs remarques de ma pars sont venu vérifier et me mettre un petit chauffage électrique ! Vu la taille dez chambre et le bruit que sa fesais j ai du à nouveau menace que je voulais quitter l hôtel que c étais une honte .. on ma change de chambre tous aussi usé, il fesais chaud mais il y puais la vielle moquette .. l hôtel en général es très froid .. le weelness es froid le jacuzzi es froid et ne fonctionne pas bien.. mais que dire du petit déjeuner une honte ! J en suis encore malade, rien vide, j ai été dans des hôtels budget ou le déjeuner es meilleur, il n y avais rien .. un jus sorti de boîte, 4 croisant qui puais le gras, une omelette infecte, et rien franchement il ferais bien de fermer l hôtel et de remédie à tous leur problème avant d accueillir des gens ! J ai voulu me plaindre pour un dédommagement ils ont fait genre qu il ne me comprenais pas, j aimerais un remboursement de cette hôtels !
