Personal encantador, agradable y muy servicial. Facilitaron nuestra estancia, e inmejorable el desayuno, super acogedor y bastante completo. La limpieza de las habitaciones bastante mejorable, si bien la habitación muy bien, cómoda, caliente aunque las almohadas muy duras e incómodas

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel de Looier in Amsterdam and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. As a family-run hotel, it had a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

One of the highlights of this hotel is its convenient location. It is within walking distance to public transport, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. Whether you want to visit famous landmarks or discover hidden gems, you're just a short journey away.

The room I stayed in was incredibly comfortable. The bed was cozy and the pillows were simply amazing. I had a restful night's sleep every night, which is exactly what you need after a long day of exploring the city.

What truly sets Hotel de Looier apart is its super friendly staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant stay. They were always ready to provide recommendations, answer any questions, and make me feel valued as a guest.

Another great aspect of this hotel is its quiet ambiance. Despite its central location, the hotel was remarkably peaceful, allowing me to unwind and relax after a busy day. It was a refreshing escape from the bustling city streets.

Our experience at Hotel de Looier was exceptional. From the comfortable room to the super friendly staff, everything was top-notch. If you're looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay in Amsterdam, I highly recommend Hotel de Looier.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time at Hotel De Looier. The staff were really nice and location perfect.
Amra(a manager) made fabulous eggs for us and best of all she made homemade pies as well. Delicious!!
I would definitely return to this hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay. Location is superb, everyone was very nice and the rooms are very clean. Also big thumbs up to the housekeeping staff :-) daily towel changing. my only contra is that we could not open the windows. Woke up a few mornings with a headache. Room had the AC thing or whatever it’s called in the room tho. Other than that I was very pleased with the hotel and can recommend it to others :) would book here again!

As Americans were very happy with all the accommodations there. The bed was very comfortable. There was great space in the room and bedroom! Close to public transportation. Staff was very kind and courteous.

Wir haben hier 2 Nächte verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Angefangen beim unkomplizierten Online-Check-in, über die super freundlichen Mitarbeiter an der 24h-Rezeption bis hin zum Frühstück oder der top Lage des Hotels, konnten wir uns hier über gar nichts beschweren! Bei uns war es von den Temperaturen her typisch dutch, also konnten wir uns bzgl. der zu warmen Zimmer überhaupt nicht beklagen, wir hatten das Fenster durchgehend gekippt, es war sehr angenehm, aber wir hätten auch einen im Zimmer vorhandenen Ventilator zur Verfügung gehabt.

Die Lage ist wirklich einwandfrei, 2 Minuten weg ist die Haltestelle Elandsgracht, von hier fahren enorm viele öffentliche Transportmittel!

Wer allerdings Wert auf Schlaf ohne Geräuschkulisse Wert legt, sollte entweder Oropax oder ein anderes Hotel nehmen, man hört die regulären Umgebungsgeräusche (von außerhalb oder Leitungen im Hotel selbst) schon ein bisschen, allerdings nicht enorm störend.

Wir werden das Hotel de Looier definitiv wieder buchen, wenn wir Amsterdam erneut besuchen.

The rooms are small but functional, clean with bright natural lighting. They have a an electric fan, coffeemaker, some teas and cups/glasses and teaspoons in the room which I love. They have shampoo/body wash already built in the shower. They cleaned my room everyday and replenished whatever I needed.

The concierges were lovely! The night I checked in, this lovely blonde lady gave me a map where she drew up routes and marked possible places I could visit. The hotel also has a QR code with links to their partner establishments where you can get freebies and discounts if you sign up through them. They have a whatsapp link where you can message for any inquiry making them easily available which as a solo traveler is very helpful! I loved staying there so much I extended an extra night! ????????????

Todo muy bien excepto por la temperatura que había en el interior de la habitación. No había aire acondicionado y a pesar de tener ventilador de torre se hacía difícil dormir. También es cierto que fueron días de calor.

Buen hotel, sin problema de limpieza, habitación amplia, tranquilo,bien ubicado andando se llega sin problema a los museos, centro etc, y sobretodo dar las gracias a todo el personal que trabaja en el hotel por su amabilidad, repetiría sin duda.

The owner is fantastically accommodating and friendly, as well as all of the staff. The triple room was plenty of space for 3 women and our stuff! The bathroom was small but clean and equipped with body wash/shampoo.

The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but in a perfect location for tourists. The tram stop and bus station are a few blocks down from the hotel, and can take you anywhere in the city.

I REALLY loved my stay here! My ONLY complaint is there is no Air Conditioning. Great location, lovely staff, and despite the other reviews saying the rooms are small trust me these rooms are generous in comparison to the other hotels at the same price in decent locations. I was extremely comfortable space wise in room 242. I traveled here the first week of July 2023 and while it does cool down at night not having an AC makes it hard to nap if you’re trying to get a nap in during the day, as I got in at 4am and needed some extra sleep on my first day. I also recommend bringing eye mask and ear plugs, bc you have no choice but to keep the window open for air, you also hear the street noise. (Despite being on a VERY not busy street you will still here some traffic and conversations or construction etc)

I’m not someone who generally loves AC, but in this case it’s the only thing that would deter me from staying here again. Otherwise, 10/10!!!

The hotel is very central with great staff and hospitality. Rooms are a bit small but very functional. They also have a coffee machine and a hair dryer in the room which are a plus. Everyone was super welcoming and happy to help. The breakfast is basic but good. Definitely recommend it and will stay in it again when I visit Amsterdam.
