The creation of the garden dates back to 1954, and the name Sheilam corresponds to the acronyms of the first names of the first owners' children. 24 years after acquiring the premises, at the age of 84, they handed over the reins to the current owners of this magical place. The garden is first and foremost a company that grows and exports cacti all over the world. There's no ideal time to visit the garden: flowering periods vary from plant to plant, and sometimes they bloom for just one day! In summer, it's best to visit in the morning.
