To the north of Laxe and some 50 kilometres west of A Coruña, this growing marine enclave is the perfect place to take a gastronomic break at the O'Burato restaurant and enjoy delicious seafood. There are also beautiful monuments such as the Torres de Mens, a castle built in the 15th century, and the Romanesque church of Santiago de Mens, built in the 12th century. You can also visit the Casa do Pescador, a museum dedicated to the local fishermen. Opposite Malpica, dominated by an old lighthouse, the Sisargas Islands are a natural refuge for sea birds such as cormorants and gulls.
