Tamerza is an easily accessible mountain oasis, less than 70 km from the airport of Tozeur, known in Roman times as Ad Turres. The current city, modern, is without architectural interest. The old village, of which we can still see traces, was destroyed and then abandoned following torrential floods in 1969, there were 22 days of rain. But the nature takes care of the show, with a very beautiful waterfall, a palm grove and a fabulous environment. Tamerza developed in full canyon, along the oued and the palm grove. For the big waterfall, direction the entrance of the oasis, by taking on the right in the middle of the village
