Pécsvárad is located on national 6, north-east of Pécs (16 km). At the end of October there was a charming folk fair called the «Market for Girls» (Leányvásár). This ancient tradition, restored to the taste of the day in the 1960 s, became a great feast for young people, who sang in choir and dance as well as in the good old days. In Pécsvárad, there is also a castle to visit.
