Walpole, a very pleasant village with a population of 450, lies to the north-west of Walpole Nornalup National Park, on the South Coast Highway. The small tourist office in Pioneer Park is a mine of information on the region. Wild landscapes, with the waters of the Inlet as a backdrop. Magnificent tree forests offering numerous forest walks, such as the Great Forest Trees Walk in Shannon National Park on the way to Pemberton. Sport fishermen will also be delighted. In Walpole, check out the Petrichor Gallery for local art. Between Walpole and Denmark, you'll find many local producers: honey, ice cream, leather, and vineyards.
