With just over 10,000 inhabitants, Ulladulla is a medium-sized town on the South Coast, 3 hours from Sydney, where you can easily find accommodation and food. Its name is of aboriginal origin and simply means "South Port". Its pretty harbor is the main attraction. Although not very touristy, the town comes alive every year in April: since 1930, every Easter Sunday, Ulladulla organizes the Blessing of the Fleet, a religious procession of Mediterranean origin during which fishing boats are blessed. The event is accompanied by a festival and a parade through the streets of the city.
