Kiama, in the pretty downtown area off the Princes Highway, is an ideal stop for an ice cream in the sun or to enjoy a fish & chip on the harbor. Its major attraction is the sea geyser known as Kiama Blowhole. Not to be missed while walking through the town: the Fire Station building (1915), now an Art Gallery, the Scots Presbyterian Church and the Court House (1860). A natural pool is located on the way to the blowhole from the harbor. From the blowhole, the rocks of the Bombo Headland Quarry, the former basalt quarry of the area, can be seen across the bay
