Agüimes, located in the province of Las Palmas in Spain, is a charming town divided into three distinct parts: the summit, agriculture and the coast. In the historic center of Agüimes, visitors can admire the Temple Paroissial de San Sebastián, a neoclassical building declared a National Historic-Artistic Monument. Nearby is the Hotel Casa de los Camellos, a three-hundred-year-old building that once belonged to an aristocratic family. In the Plaza de San Antón, you'll find the Centro d'Interpretación d'Agüimes, where you can learn more about the city's architecture, art and history. The Palacio Epicopal, now home to the Agüimes History Museum and the Parque de los Moros, is also worth a visit.
