Beware, this is one of the best restaurants in Puerto de la Cruz. Since 1986, it has welcomed its customers in a renovated old house, and we confess to particularly appreciating the pretty patio, filled with greenery and featuring a fountain. The menu highlights Canarian products such as the delicious soups, the filetes de cherne, accompanied by the indispensable papas and their mojos, or the Canarian cheese croquettes stuffed with guava. Very good advice on the choice of wines to accompany your meal, the service is pleasant and attentive.

The La Compostelana group had the excellent idea of taking over the former café on the Plaza del Charco, sheltered under magnificent Canarian palm trees. The result is a kind of Swiss army knife where you can find everything you need, from breakfast to the latest cocktail, not forgetting the tapas area and the restaurants. The decor is a little Sissi in the tropics, but it's not without its charm, and the quality and freshness of the dishes and tapas on offer are top-notch.
