This tower, which can be seen from the city centre, is very similar to the Paris Eiffel Tower. It is indeed a copy built for the Universal Exhibition in 1891, which is at the same height as the Parisian tower... by counting the height of the hill! It is accessible to visitors who want to climb its 299 spiral staircases that turn in the sole foot of the tower. From the height of its 60 m, you have the whole city at your feet.

La tour, qui a un petit air de Tour Eiffel, est située tout en haut d'une colline, en face de la vieille ville. On peut ainsi, depuis le haut de la tour, admirée la vieille ville dans son ensemble, de l'autre côté du fleuve. La ballade dans les jardins en contrebas, obligatoire pour accéder au haut de la colline sauf si on prend le funiculaire, est sympa et procure un peu de verdure...

Après avoir visiter le chateau vous pouvez prendre la direction de la Tour Petrin sur la colline en face si le temps est favorable. vous pourrez déambuler dans les jardins et admirer la très belle vue sur la Ville. Un peu cher pour monter quelques escaliers mais cela vaut le coup d'oeil.

Cette tour, aux air de tour Eiffel, surplombe le parc Pétrin et offre un superbe panorama sur la ville de Prague. A pied, la montée pour y accéder est très rude, mais cela vaut le coup.
