Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Church (Panny Marie Sněžné) is a Gothic building built in 1347 by Charles IV. As it was destined to become the main place of worship in the New City, the Hussite wars interrupted its construction. It was later completed and nowadays offers the highest nave in Prague. The Franciscan Garden (Františkánská zahrada) is nearby. It remained a monks' garden until 1950, when it became a public place.
