Wooden tables, vaulted stone cellar, the decibels resound loudly until the early hours of the night and the atmosphere is good: young, relaxed and 1,000% Czech and of course, beer aplenty since, it's a shame, the cocktails offered at the bar are not worth much.
KAVÁRNA JARDA MAYER

We sit down together, along the small bar or on beautiful wooden tables to descend pints and launch big debates. An authentic neighbourhood bar, with its soul and regulars that you don't feel you're disturbing. A nice place in this neighborhood. The choice of beers is not extraordinary, but the pressure is fresh and you can taste a very good cider if you are an amateur.

For a chain establishment, it's rather successful in terms of atmosphere and decoration. You will also find Popo Café Petl bars in the Malá Strana district in Nové Město, as well as in Vinohrady.
BOHUZEL BAR
Read moreIt's punk, it's crazy, it's open most of the night and it's cheap. In the tradition of red-light district bars, the Bohužel attracts a diverse clientele of regulars who come to order cheap beers from a warm and jovial team of bartenders. The musical atmosphere will delight those nostalgic for punk rock, and will even allow you to make a few discoveries from the days when this musical style evolved under coats on the other side of the wall. In short, a little experience for fans, a curiosity for others.
