A decor without frills, but where one could spend hours reading (in Czech) the press clippings glued to the walls and dedicated to poetry and Bohuslav Balbín, who gave his name to several kavarna in the capital. This one is discreet but particularly pleasant with its large tables arranged in a space where the volumes under the brick ceiling are appreciable. Soups and daily specials are as hearty and tasty as they are cheap, even if you obviously don't come here for gastronomy.
