8.5 km away, at the northern end of the island, this small port sits at the head of a bay lined with olive and pine trees. Rather selective, the little bay is often lined with pretty connoisseur sailboats... You can swim at Haramis and Monodendri. From Lakka, you can access the Ipapanti sea caves by caïque. Lost in the middle of nature, the church of Ypapantis is painted orange and ochre, and stands out among the green scrubland. It was built in 1601 by two brothers, Adam and Vassilis. It features an impressive marble temple by a Corfu artist. The church is well worth a visit, not least for its magnificent views.
