Elia is a large sandy beach, located 12 kilometers from the capital. It is the longest sandy beach in Mykonos, fully organized, offering a wide choice of tavernas and bars as well as water sports facilities such as water skiing, parasailing and windsurfing. To the west of Elia, the smaller Agrari beach is popular with gay visitors and nudists. Quieter than its neighbor, it's quite pleasant. Elia is on the last stop of the caïque (traditional fishing boat used as a water cab) so the beach can be less crowded than others. There's a lovely view to the left up the hill.
