In 2021, this label recognized the geological attractions of the marine territory around Vis, with a view to promoting and, above all, preserving it.
The Unesco World Geopark label recognized in 2021 the geological attractions of the marine territory around Vis in order to valorize and especially protect it. If the particular attraction remains the island of Biševo with the famous Blue Cave, a unique phenomenon in the Adriatic, the Green Cave of Ravnik is worth a visit, as well as the bay of Stiniva, Stončica, Milna and Zaglav, the islands of Ravnik, Brusnik, Sv. Andrija, Jabuka and Palagruža. Some of them were natural refuges for the Mediterranean monk seal. To discover everything, a private boat is necessary.
