Gallery with a work of a landscape artist evoking the impressive bohemian city of Split.

Emanuel Vidovič (1870-1953), an artistic figure less known than Meštrovič in Split, is from the maritime capital. His work evokes the impressionist bohemian style of his city at the beginning of the 20th century. The landscape gardener will leave the Dalmatian shores to cross the Adriatic Sea and dock in Venice. But he will return to his region to land in Trogir. The sea obsesses its lagoon and sad atmospheres. This superb gallery retains the painter's dark side. Not to be missed is a film on the artist's pictorial itinerary.
