Imposing cubist block, on the Marjan hill, with rooms highlighting fragments of buildings.
On Marjan Hill, an imposing cubist block designed by architect M. Kauzlarić houses an enormous national archaeological collection, dating from the 7th to the 15th centuries. Founded in 1893 in Knin, the collection was relocated several times, to Sinj, later to Klis, before moving to Split in 1976. The rooms feature fragments of buildings, statues, sculptures, weapons, everyday objects and epigraphic monuments.
