Well-restored national theater in Split with a yellow neoclassical façade.
Built at the end of the 19th century by the architects Vecchietti and Bezić, this national theatre is one of the oldest in Dalmatia. A first company appeared on its boards in 1920 and since then the popular success has not wavered. It was badly damaged by a fire in 1971 and then it was well restored. If you do not have the opportunity to attend a performance (theatre, dance, concert), admire its neoclassical yellow façade from the outside
