KAMERLENGO FORTRESS
Cultural center with a theater and an open-air cinema with an agenda of shows on the city's website.
On the south-western side of the walled city, the fortress was built by the Venetians in the 15th century to improve the city's defensive system and secure maritime access. The fortress was renovated after the Second World War. Today, the site with its inner courtyard has become a cultural center, with an open-air theater and cinema. To admire the view during the day, you can climb the fortifications, or even at night when there are no events. See the calendar of events on the town's website.
