Fortress with a walkway, accessible by a drawbridge and along the ramparts and bastions with a view of the lower town.
The fortress is accessible via a wooden drawbridge. You can start your visit by walking along the ramparts and bastions. The view of the lower town below, the surrounding area and the mountains is superb. The bridges of Kastel Knin lead to Kastel Lab, from which stands the Croatian flag and a monument to Croatian President Franjo Tudjman. From Lab, go down to Gariste, Belvedere and the Lower Town, the memorial museum... The terrace café is pleasant.
