Owner's Message HOSTEL PIPISTRELO

It's not about sleeping, it's about dreaming - this is the motto of the first hostel in Pula called Pipištrelo. The hostel is located in the centre of Pula, near the main square of the city, the Forum. Pipištrelo is a design project brimming with spirit, a small hostel gallery filled with creative details in which each room has its own story.

Comic books, films, music, poetry and prose are the main elements included in the design of the themed rooms. Their huge windows overlook the waterfront with the shipyard and a huge ship. The only room that does not face the shipyard is a kind of room-in-the-making in terms of interior design.

Comic book appliqués, classic and generational film posters, installations made of gramophone records, wrought iron beds, a polyurethane foam chandelier, original handmade wallpapers from pages of literary classics and an old-fashioned floor lamp are just a fragment of the hostel's many design elements, offering its guests an entirely new and exciting experience.

Pipištrelo thus embodies a new, soft, expressive, pleasant and attractive addition to the city of Pula, while being conscious of its history.
