One of Tana's best quality/price ratios, and it's starting to come out! Central location and rooms with parquet floor very well maintained and well equipped. However, not all of them are identical. The Italian restaurant is in tone, pleasant and of high quality. Responsive and smiling service. A good address in more than one way.

Soafara will have the great pleasure of welcoming you in his large house. Common spaces on the ground floor with a bar/billiard/TV/quite cosy TV, very correct rooms on the floor, and a dormitory at the top for the most broke. Equipped kitchen, a big advantage (if not, a complete menu is available at 35 000 Ar, including a drink). Small garden on the back. Practice: The residence is located at the very beginning of the RN 7 (for purists who don't want to lose a km!), and just steps from the south-west brousse station. Beautiful building with a charming architecture that still deserves one or two strokes of paint in places. Thirty-two air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms and honest comfort. Quiet and elegant, this hotel is very well located just steps from Analakely and the good addresses of Isoraka. The rooms, comfortable (with air conditioning), have a certain character. The bathrooms have been renovated, and Rita, the young director, has dressed the hotel with all kinds of Malagasy instruments and objects. A charming address. The restaurant Tatao (Malagasy menu, gastronomic menu), with its meals in music, deserves a visit, for its elegant decoration and its subtle atmosphere. Ideal for a romantic meal. Buildings of character and refined setting, although a little outdated (but the whole exudes a certain charm). The rooms, spacious and pleasant, are decorated with silk paintings with different motifs. Off-centre address (a stone's throw from the Lycée Français, however), but free shuttles are available for the centre, and you can breathe much better there! We have the impression of being in the countryside (rice fields just in front). Rest assured by the large and beautiful swimming pool that refreshes during the hot weather.

The Siceh Group includes two good hotels on the Avenue de l'Independence: Tana Plaza, with 61 rooms and 2 studios (air conditioning, heating, direct dial telephone, individual safe, satellite TV, minibar, equipped bathroom, hair dryer, good bedding, wifi, nice terrace on the avenue) and the Hotel de France, with 30 rooms (same amenities, prefer the three more spacious rooms on the avenue). These two structures have been well established for a long time. The whole is comfortable and impeccable, admittedly a little impersonal, but it avoids bad surprises. Good restaurants on site. 

A small structure of four rooms (21 m ²), four studios (35 m ²) plus a loft (70 m ²), whose rates well accessible due to the proposed comfort make it an appreciated address in Tana for several years. Very close to the Embassy of France, close to good restaurants. Welcome to Mr. Ballou, the boss who is generously involved in the rehabilitation project of a hospital organized by the Association of Friends of Madagascar (formerly AKAMA), one of the founding members, with already EUR 2 million injected.

Beautiful address near the airport (perfect for a transit or waiting for a flight in the evening), in a forest of 3 ha. We feel in the countryside! The bungalows, which are a beautiful part of wood and stone, show an obvious artistic research: raw granite bathrooms, unique crafts… They are also very comfortable. Beautiful swimming pool (but cool in the southern winter). The restaurant serves meat, fish and camarons specialities. Bike rides are offered. 

Traditional Malagasy house, with its red brick walls and interior woodwork, its garden and two terraces, nestled in a green setting, near the city centre. The 5 rooms, well decorated, are designed to be eco-responsible: solar water heater, rainwater harvesting, cooking from wood chips and not from charcoal. The complex is well equipped. Aïna (full of good advice) also offers a table d'hôtes (perhaps sometimes a little light), as well as sandwiches and homemade pies during the day for the hungry. A warm address away from the beaten track.

On site, a nice surprise is offered to the eye: the view of the city from the terraces. This set of outdoor spaces, full of nooks and crannies, favors intimacy and contemplation. One of the terraces extends the restaurant where the smell of good food is always wafting... Not surprising, since the owners are Italian and do not deviate on the quality of fresh pasta or homemade ravioli. The whole, of Mediterranean inspiration, is warm, with comfortable rooms and colored bathrooms.

The hotel is located close to the Café de la Gare, with a cheap Chinese restaurant. The rooms (private health, television, telephone) are functional and well maintained. Quality-price ratio very fair, if not to play in the "charm" category. The best options: The apartments with equipped kitchen, to stay independently.

The Hôte guesthouse, which means «Forever» in Malagasy, is nestled on the hill of Ambatomaro. Held by Hortence and her husband Joël, a pro of tourism in Madagascar. A large garden, panoramic view on the east side of the Queen's Palace and a lot of sun. As a good scout, Joel created in 2015 the Association des gîtes et maisons d'hôtes et de maisons de Mada. 

Rooms with parquet floors are tastefully decorated, an asset in this range of prices. Rooms and terraces. Good maintenance in general, and pleasant welcome. A good address at a low price.

In the middle of the street, a little out of the street, the kind of good plans that pass through the roads.
