East of Salihli, 124 km from Manisa. From the Manisa otogar, take Salihli buses (connection after Kula, dolmus every 15 minutes). The landscapes surrounding the road leading to Kula are of volcanic origin. The landscape is arid, with volcanic activity only to the millennium iie B.C. We found traces of foot in Çakallar Tepesi, near the artificial lake of Demirköprü, dating back to 12 000 years BC! The village of 25 inhabitants managed to preserve much of its original urban fabric. A stroll in the narrow alleys makes it possible to fully live the wonderful atmosphere and to see the beautiful facades of centenary houses, the best examples of which lie in the north. The trip is worth it.
