A dolmuş leaves every 30 minutes from the Selçuk bus station (7 km away). An olive tree-lined road leads to this ancient Greek village of lovely houses and two dilapidated Byzantine churches. Its speciality, wine, has made the village a tourist attraction. However, the bucolic atmosphere remains and the village recovers its charm in the evening when the last tourist bus leaves. You will come across groups of grandmothers sitting on the stone steps, busy chatting and knitting pairs of slippers or gloves that they will offer you for a nominal fee. On weekends, the village is overcrowded.
