Honey is relatively expensive in Istanbul but this small shop is still affordable. It is located behind the Mihrimah Sultan mosque. At Bingöl Bal Pazari, you will find 3 types of artisanal honey of very good quality at very affordable prices. Flower honey from Bingöl (the cheapest), karakovan (honeycomb) from Pervari and chestnut honey from Artvin. You can also buy polen, honey still in its cells, which Turks like to accompany with kaymak (a cheese speciality made from buffalo cream)

C'est un magasin de miel situé juste derrière la Mosquée Mihrimah. Le propriétaire a différents types de miel (milles fleurs, châtaignier etc) provenant de son propre rucher. Il fait aussi son propre mélange épicé (cannelle gingembre etc) qui est assez incroyable: les turcs en mangent une petite cuillère au petit déjeuner :) Demandez-lui une dégustation et vous ne serez pas déçu ! Les prix sont très raisonnables et la qualité est excellente.
