This former caravanserai, which was used to accommodate high-level Ottoman officials during their stay in Istanbul, is part of the buildings that have paid for the 1956 facilities. Indeed, the Canyon complex, famous family that gave many of its members to the services of the Ottoman Empire, occupied the entire ground between the Nuruosmaniye Caddesi and the Divan Yolu. Its buildings have been separated and the caravanserai, which contains a charming small district restaurant, now houses offices and workshops.
