Located on the main street of the Sarrià district, Major de Sarrià, this famous pastry shop is a historical establishment in Barcelona that has been open since 1886. Founded by the parents of the Catalan poet J. V. Foix, the pastry shop is now run by a cousin of the poet. Here you can enjoy all kinds of Catalan pastries, pastries, chocolates, ice creams and sweets. Try for example the carquinyolis (almond cookies) and the famous conchas, the emblematic shell-shaped cookies covered with chocolate.
