Once again, don't expect to find a French-style seaside, small creeks, superb views... You have the sea which is already not bad. 20 km west of Alexandria is the Egyptian Saint-Tropez. Even if it has lost all its charm and is just a series of buildings stuck together, Agami is the most beautiful beach in the area. Its sand is regularly cleaned. It is also one of the busiest in July and August, and on summer weekends it is overcrowded. Part of the beach is free. To get to Agami, you can take the bus: from Alexandria, bus 12, 13, 14, several times a day.
