Souk el-Foustat featuring 48 stores selling Tanis printed fabrics, copper creations, cosmetics...
In an architectural space inspired by the buildings of old Cairo, the Souk el-Foustat gathers the most beautiful traditional Egyptian art in forty-eight stores, as well as the adjoining potters' village, where 32 craftsmen work and sell their production in situ. One can find there the printed fabrics of the Tanis house, the copper and fabric creations of Al Khatoum, the cosmetics, soaps and kohl of the Nefertari store, the silverware of Atef Wassef... Note that humanitarian associations have stores there.
