Head office of Baron Empain's company, with a staircase topped by a small minaret covered by a white dome.

The headquarters of the Company of Baron Empain is a neo-Moresque creation signed by its favourite architect Alexandre Marcel, who built it in 1908. Arcades shelter shops, while bay windows close the first floor with fine Moorish columns. The staircase is topped by a small minaret covered with a white dome. This building combines various architectural styles of European, neo-Arabic, Romanesque and Moorish inspiration.
