About the dhow:
A dhow is a traditional wooden boat. This type of handcrafted wooden boat has been used for thousands of years by fishermen along the Swahili coast.
This traditional boat is very solid and safe. An outing aboard one is like sailing back in time to another era.
We strive to offer dhow excursions of the highest quality, quite simply the best experience you can have in Zanzibar.
About us:
My name is Olympe, I'm from France. I met Modi, Hadi and Bablon in Kenya in 2015.
These three boys are childhood friends and sailing enthusiasts; they grew up together on a dhow in Lamu, an island.
Together, we decided to go to Zanzibar with the BOSS DHOW. We crossed the Indian Ocean from Lamu to Kendwa beach for 4 days, arriving in this paradise to start a new life. We have created our own business with the Boss Dhow, thanks to our passion, to share our experiences with you.
We're warm, funny, sociable, bon vivants, and always eager to share our lifestyle with you.
