Excellent Thai street food concocted by an internationally renowned chef in the historic centre of Bangkok.
One of the most famous street food stalls in the world after the Michelin guide awarded it a star. Its elderly owner, Raan Jay Fai (Supinya Junsuta), is herself behind the stove, wearing her famous big ski goggles that protect her from splashes. Thai cuisine classics are revisited, such as tom yum kung, but her great specialty remains the crab omelette. Foodies flock here, and reservations are required several months in advance. Rumor has it that Jay Fai will be retiring soon...
