On the road to Khovd, this 20 km long lake is beautiful. Fed by the Namiraa River, it is suitable for fishing, because its waters are full of fish. It is also possible to bathe there, after having passed the reeds and high grasses which border its shore. This vegetation is the habitat of many species of birds. It is a good stopover between the two cities, and the lake is also located at almost equal distance from both: it is about 130 km south of Ulaangom and 150 km north of Khovd.
