Port d'Andratx occupies a privileged site at the end of a naturally sheltered bay, the entrance to which is blocked by a powerful breakwater. This charming natural harbor is an extension of the village of Andratx, 5 km away. Overrun by new buildings that have now taken over the wooded hills overlooking the bay, the place has retained a certain charm despite the concrete, especially if you venture beyond its marina. In the harbour, you'll find a number of boutiques, cafés and restaurants, and just a stone's throw from the latter, a series of small coves fringed by clear water, unfortunately urbanized and not always very clean.
